In addition to presenting work from premier painters and sculptors from across the United States and Canada, the Out West Art Foundation works with Montana high schools, mentoring tomorrow’s artists through the artist-run Young Masters Program. Make sure to stop by the Young Masters room to check out up and coming local student work!

Sweet Pea Festival

The Sweet Pea Festival is a three-day festival of the arts held the first Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in August. The Festival kicks off late Friday afternoon in Lindley Park with a performance by Montana Shakespeare in the Parks; Saturday ramps up with a children’s run and parade that lead the community to the park where the festivities continue through 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Weekend entertainment comes in many forms – music of all genres, performances by local theatre and dance troupes, workshops, family-friendly entertainment and activities, a flower show, a beer and wine garden featuring Montana microbrews, and over 100 arts and crafts vendors to stroll through and purchase unique gifts for yourself, family, and friends.

The week leading up to the Festival offers additional fun-filled, community events. Artists of all skill levels converge on Main Street Tuesday morning for Chalk on the Walk, where kids, adults and professionals create on the Downtown Bozeman sidewalks. Wednesday evening local restaurants line Main Street to offer up samples of their fare, while musicians entertain, during the ever popular Bite of Bozeman and the Sweet Pea Art Show runs throughout July at the ERA Landmark Visitor’s Center.

Admission to events leading up to Festival weekend is free. Admission to the events in Lindley Park requires the purchase of an admission wristband. (Children 12 and under admitted free.)

The Sweet Pea Festival is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All money raised in excess of what is needed to operate the Festival is given back to the community in the form of grants for the arts, art education, and special projects in the Bozeman area.

For 47 years the Sweet Pea Festival has been committed to its mission of “promoting and cultivating the arts.” Our dedicated Board of Directors strives to create a memorable event for the Bozeman community each and every year. The Board is supported in its endeavor by the hundreds of volunteers and local area business contributors that help make the Festival a success. The Festival is able to operate through its admission, merchandise sales, and local business partnerships, and is grateful to all festival goers for their participation in this amazing event. Art Fair Jackson Hole

The Art Association of Jackson Hole is pleased to present the 59th annual Art Fair Jackson Hole.
A quintessential Jackson Hole summer event, Art Fair Jackson Hole features professional local and national artists selling fine art and craft including ceramics, paintings, furniture, photography, and much more. Artists and exhibitors are selected through a blind jury process and invited to present their work to thousands of patrons over an extended weekend, Friday through Sunday.

Art Fair Jackson Hole is our largest fundraising event of the year. All proceeds, including artist application, booth fees and admission, directly benefit the Art Association’s mission to provide art education for ages one to 100. Thank you so much for your support!

Dates: July 26-28, 2024 and August 16-18, 2024

Big Sky Artisan Festival

Join us for the 2024 Big Sky Artisan Festival on Saturday, July 22nd, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Len Hill Park, located in the Big Sky Town Center. The festival features a wide variety of artistic mediums, such as painting, photography, pottery, jewelry, and other fine handmade products. Live music, food and drink vendors will also be on site.

The Big Sky Artisan Festival is a celebration of fine artisans and craftspeople in beautiful Big Sky, Montana. A gateway town to Yellowstone National Park, Big Sky is a popular tourist destination and offers world class fly fishing, amazing hiking and outdoor recreation, fine dining and shopping, and the renowned Big Sky Ski Resort. Aside from being a recreational hub, Big Sky has grown into a center of arts and culture in southwest Montana. The Artisan Festival occurs the same weekend as the Big Sky Professional Bull Riding event and is one of the busiest tourism weeks of the summer.

The festival runs concurrent with Tucson’s internationally renowned Gem & Mineral Show which draws visitors from around the globe. Many Tucson visitors make both the Gem & Mineral show and the Festival of the Arts their destination. Highlights of the Festival include more than 250 Fine Artists and craftsmen, a large assortment of festival eateries, and live entertainment. Hockaday Arts in the Park

Join us July 16-18, 2021 for Arts in the Park, the Flathead Valley's premier arts, crafts and music festival and an annual favorite.

Held in Kalispell's historic downtown Depot Park, over 75 local and visiting artists and artisans offer their unique and quality works for sale.

Guests can also enjoy food trucks, live music, a wine and beer garden, and children's activities. Blankets welcome!

Arts in the Park is a benefit event for the Hockaday Museum of Art. All admission proceeds support the Museum in its mission and programs.

For your safety, Arts in the Park will be following all CDC and health department requirements regarding COVID-19 health requirements including masking, social distancing and increased sanitization measures.

Admission is $5 for a 3-day unlimited pass (which also grants you admission to the Museum during or after the festival), and children under 12 are free. Buy your pass button in advance at the museum for $4!
